Our Tans will last anywhere from 7-10 days, on average. The amount of physical activity, after care, and proper preparation for the tan are all factors of how many days one can expect their tan to last. Can I Spray Tan during Pregnancy? Our solution that we use is organic. We have been safely tanning women during pregnancy. However, we always suggest consulting with your doctor beforehand. How Many Days Should I Tan Before My Wedding? For all the brides to be, we suggest scheduling your appointment 2-3 days before the big day. You'll want to be sure to shower at least 3 times before the wedding date. This will ensure all the bronzer is completely rinsed out of your pores to avoid any colour rubbing onto your dress. We recommend a light, natural colour for brides. What If I Have Very Fair Skin? If it is your first time tanning, or you have an extremely fair complexion, we suggest choosing a lighter tone to ensure satisfaction. Will I Look Orange From a the Tan? Never. We ensure a golden brown colour. Most all other solutions on the market contain beat or carrot fermented extracts, which is where the orange tones and unpleasant scent stem from. We guarantee the highest quality, golden-brown results. DHA & The FDA The active ingredient in self tanning products is dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA has been used in cosmetic preparations for almost 30 years and was listed with the FDA in 1973. It is declared safe and suitable for use in cosmetics and used to temporarily colour the skin. DHA is derived from glycerin (vegetable origin) which is a commonly used cosmetic and food ingredient. DHA is not absorbed into the body and poses no possibility of toxicity. APPOINTMENT PREP Exfoliate and buff away any dry skin 24 hours prior to your spray tan appointment. This will make your tan last much longer by revealing new skin. Wax or Shave at least 24 hours before treatment (if waxing ideally do so 48 hours before to allow the pores to close back up). Shower & Moisturize generously the day before, ideally overnight. This will prevent dryness and provide the perfect tanning base.  Rinse off any products from your face/body: deodorant, perfume, moisturizers and make up before attending your spray tanning appointment (this acts as a barrier to the spray and stops the colour from developing properly). Wear dark coloured, loose fitting clothing and sandals following your treatment. Preferably anything without tight straps or waistbands.  If you were planning on getting a manicure and pedicure do it BEFORE your spray tan appointment.
